Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms govern the use of MIRA (mirajob.cloud) by students and university associations. By creating an account you accept them. Companies also accept the Terms for companies. This is a translation of the Italian text, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.

1. What MIRA is

MIRA is a platform where university students build a professional profile, the MiraCard, and use it to apply to university associations and to be found by registered companies. Associations use it to manage their selections. Companies use it to search for profiles.

The service is provided by the MIRA team (“we”). To learn the full details of the entity providing it, you can write to privacy@mirajob.cloud.

2. Account

To sign up as a student you must be an adult, be or have been enrolled at a university and state which one, and provide truthful information. You can sign up with email and password or with your Google account. Your account is personal: it cannot be transferred or shared, and you are responsible for anyone who uses it with your credentials.

Whoever registers or manages an association declares they are entitled to do so. If an association’s page is managed by someone who does not represent it, we may transfer it to whoever proves they do.

3. Your MiraCard

The contents of your MiraCard are yours: what you write, the CV and transcript you upload, your photo. You grant us permission to store, process and show them to the people listed in section 4, solely to run the service. The permission ends for the contents you remove and when your account is closed.

The MiraCard is written in English. When you save a text, MIRA may correct and translate it with artificial intelligence tools: it does not add information or change the meaning of what you wrote, and you can always edit the result.

You are responsible for the truth of what you state. Uploading false or altered documents leads to your account being closed.

4. Who sees your MiraCard

While you are creating it, only you can see your card. When you publish it, you accept that registered companies can find it: they see it anonymously, without your name, photo and contact details, and a company only receives these if you share them in a conversation with it. You can stop being found at any time by turning off “I am available” in the Availability section.

An association sees your card, with your name and contact details, when you apply to one of its selections, send it an open application, answer one of its forms or are a member. If you turn on the public link, anyone with the link sees the card with your name and contact details, without average and grades. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. Associations

The association decides independently who to admit, how to evaluate and what to tell applicants, and is responsible for it. It may use applicants’ data only for the selection they applied to and for the life of the association, and processes it as an independent controller. It may not pass it to third parties or use it for commercial communications.

Some association pages are created by us from public information, so that students can find them. Whoever represents the association can ask to manage, correct or remove the page by writing to privacy@mirajob.cloud.

6. Talent Pool

Talent Pools are groups of students we select for a given field. Applying is optional. Admission is decided by people on the MIRA team looking at your MiraCard, and is not guaranteed.

7. Artificial intelligence

MIRA uses artificial intelligence models to read CVs and transcripts, to correct and translate the texts of the card, to help associations read applications and to suggest to companies the profiles that fit their search. They are support tools and can make mistakes. No application is accepted or rejected automatically: who to admit, who to contact and who to hire is always decided by people, in associations, in companies or on the MIRA team.

8. Rules of use

You may not: provide false information or impersonate someone else; use MIRA for purposes other than applications, selections and searching for profiles; collect data by automated means; resell or share access; use contact details obtained through MIRA for purposes other than selection, for example marketing; try to find out the identity of a student who has not shared it; behave in a harassing or discriminatory way.

9. Costs

MIRA is free for students. For associations, managing selections is free. Prices for companies are in the Terms for companies.

10. MIRA’s role and liability

MIRA connects students, associations and companies, but is not a party to the relationships that come out of it. We are not an employment agency. We do not guarantee accepted applications, interviews, internships or hiring, and we are not liable for the decisions of associations and companies.

The service is provided as is, at its current stage of development. We work to keep it continuous and secure, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are only liable for direct damage caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.

11. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice except in serious cases. You can close your account at any time by writing to privacy@mirajob.cloud from the address you signed up with. What happens to your data after closure is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is substantial, we will let you know on the platform or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using MIRA after the notice, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with a consumer, the court of the place where the consumer lives has jurisdiction. In all other cases, the court of Milan has jurisdiction.

14. Contact
