Terms for companies

The company account is activated after we verify it. The people you add to the workspace act on behalf of the company, which is responsible for what they do on MIRA. The service is aimed at businesses and professionals: it is not a consumer service.

You describe the profile you are looking for and confirm the criteria. MIRA compares the request with the MiraCards of available students and suggests the ones that fit, with a report explaining why. The comparison and the report are produced with artificial intelligence tools: they support your assessment and may contain inaccuracies. Who to contact and who to hire is your decision.

We do not guarantee a minimum number of candidates, nor that the suggested candidates will accept the contact or be hired. How many candidates and replacements are included depends on the plan.

The MiraCards you see are anonymous: they do not show name, photo and contact details. You can write to a student through MIRA. The student decides whether to reply and whether to share their name and contact details, and may choose not to.

You may use students’ information and contact details only to assess and manage the selection for which you contacted them. You may not pass them to third parties, use them for commercial communications, keep them for other purposes or try to identify anyone who has not shared their identity. You process the data you receive as an independent controller and are responsible for it under data protection law.

Selections must comply with equal treatment rules: you may not use MIRA to exclude people on the basis of characteristics protected by law.

MIRA can be tried for free with one search, within the limits shown on the plans page. Beyond the trial, there is the single search, paid once, and the subscription, monthly or yearly. What each plan includes and what it costs is shown on the plans page and on the checkout screen: the content and price shown at the time of purchase apply. Prices include applicable taxes.

Payments are handled by Stripe: card details are processed by Stripe and we never see them. The single search is paid in advance, does not expire and does not renew. The subscription is paid in advance and renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, at the price in force.

You can cancel the subscription at any time from the Billing section. Cancelling stops the next renewal: the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid. If a payment fails, paid features may be suspended until it is resolved.

A search that produces no candidates is not counted: it remains available to you. In all other cases, amounts already paid are not refundable, not even in proportion to the unused period, except as required by mandatory rules or in case of our breach. Since this is a service for businesses, the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.

After each payment you receive the related document by email, and you can also find it in the Billing section. The entity issuing the document and its tax details are shown on the document itself. Issuing it may require the company’s billing details, which you must provide correctly.

We are not a party to the relationship between the company and the student and we are not liable for the information students state in their MiraCards, nor for the outcome of selections. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to the company on any ground does not exceed the amounts the company paid us in the twelve months before the event.

We may suspend or close the account of a company that violates these terms, in particular those in section 3, without refunding amounts paid. You can ask to close the company account by writing to privacy@mirajob.cloud.
